THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: In response to a question from Wall Street Journal reporter, Jonathan Cheng, about why J. P. Morgan was trading lower in spite of earnings that beat estimates, Julius Ridgway said, "There's still considerable amount of skepticism about the financials. There are still some continued downtrends in retail banking, and some of the gains may have been one-offs or reversals on charge-offs and excess reserves."
